Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
- Oil spray for air fryer
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and vanilla over medium heat and bring to a boil.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Pour the boiling mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.
- Allow the dough to cool for a few minutes, then pipe or mold it into bite-sized pieces.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and spray the basket with oil.
- Place the churro bites in the basket in a single layer, spray the tops with oil, and cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a shallow dish, combine granulated sugar and cinnamon. Roll the hot churro bites in the mixture to coat.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
