- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 large eggs
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Grease four ramekins with butter and dust with flour.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chocolate chips together until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, egg yolks, and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Stir in the melted chocolate mixture, then add the flour, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter evenly into the prepared ramekins.
- Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the center is soft.
- Let them sit for 1 minute, then invert onto plates. Serve warm and enjoy the gooey chocolate center!
Notes
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
