- 5–6 medium potatoes, diced

- 3 cups beef broth

- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
- 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Prep Ingredients: Wash, peel, and dice potatoes. Chop onion and mince garlic.
- Brown Meat: In a skillet, melt butter or heat oil. Brown ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
- Assemble in Crockpot: Add potatoes, onions, garlic, and browned hamburger to the crockpot. Pour in beef broth and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme. Stir to combine.
