For the Chicken:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1–2 tbsp olive oil
For the Buttered Noodles:
- 8 oz egg noodles (or wide pasta)
- 2 cups chicken broth (low sodium preferred)
- 2–3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Season Chicken
Pat chicken dry. Season both sides with garlic powder, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. - Sear Chicken
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside. - Cook Garlic
In the same pan, add minced garlic. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. - Add Broth & Noodles
Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add egg noodles and stir to coat. Cover and cook for 7–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender. - Finish with Butter
Stir in butter until melted and noodles are coated. Return chicken to the skillet. Let everything heat together for 2–3 minutes. - Serve
Garnish with parsley and Parmesan if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!

- For added richness, stir in a splash of cream or a tablespoon of cream cheese.
