Description

Cheesy Garlic Butter Corn on the Cob is a delicious summer treat featuring tender corn coated in a rich garlic butter sauce and topped with melted cheese. It’s the perfect side dish for BBQs or family dinners, bursting with flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ears of fresh corn on the cob, husked and cleaned
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (or cheese of choice)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or cilantro), for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Prep the Corn:
Remove the husks and silk from the corn. Rinse under cold water to clean.
  • Make the Garlic Butter:
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Cook the Corn:
    • Grilling Method: Preheat your grill to medium heat. Place the corn on the grill, rotating every 5-7 minutes until charred and tender (about 15-20 minutes).
    • Boiling Method: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the corn and cook for 7-10 minutes until tender.
  • Apply Garlic Butter:
Brush the hot corn with the garlic butter mixture, making sure to coat every part.
  • Add the Cheese:
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese (or your choice of cheese) generously over the corn while it’s still hot.
  • Garnish and Serve:
Garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or cilantro, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
