Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or chopped
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp butter or egg wash (optional, for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. - Make the Filling:
In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. - Assemble the Rolls:
Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles. Spoon a generous amount of the chicken mixture onto the wider end of each triangle. Roll up from the wider end toward the tip, sealing the edges tightly. - Bake the Rolls:
Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Brush with melted butter or egg wash for a golden finish. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve:
Let the rolls cool for a few minutes, then serve with your favorite dipping sauces, such as ranch or honey mustard.
Notes
- For a crispy finish, bake the rolls with the egg wash or melted butter.
- Customize the filling by adding spinach, buffalo sauce, or BBQ sauce.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to maintain the crispy texture.
