Description

Indulge in the ultimate comfort food with Maple Bacon Cheeseburger Bomb Quesadillas. Crispy tortillas filled with savory ground beef, crispy bacon, melted cheese, and a sweet touch of maple syrup. Perfect for any occasion

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 slices of bacon  (cooked and crumbled)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Cook the Ground Beef:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper. Once the beef is browned and cooked through, drain any excess fat.
Stir in ketchup, mustard, and maple syrup. Mix well and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to combine the flavors. Remove from heat.
2. Prepare the Bacon:
While the beef is cooking, fry the bacon in another skillet until crispy. Once done, drain on paper towels and crumble into small pieces.
3. Assemble the Quesadillas:
Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly brush with olive oil.
Place a flour tortilla in the skillet. On one half of the tortilla, spread a layer of the beef mixture, followed by a sprinkle of crumbled bacon, and top with a mix of cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
Fold the tortilla in half to form a half-moon shape.
4. Cook the Quesadillas:
Cook the quesadilla for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy, flipping carefully with a spatula. Ensure the cheese has melted inside.
5. Serve:
Remove from the skillet and slice into wedges. Serve immediately with a side of pickles, fries, or a salad for a complete meal!

Notes

For extra flavor, drizzle a bit more maple syrup over the quesadilla after cooking for a sweet touch.
You can add lettuce, tomatoes, or any other burger toppings you like inside the quesadilla for added freshness and flavor.
